James McDaniel And Kaiden Radford Obituary, Death – The Charleston Police Department has identified the four victims of a tragic fatal accident that occurred on I-77 near the I-77/I-64 split in Charleston, West Virginia, on the night of August 21, 2026. The victims, who lost their lives in a devastating crash, are:
James McDaniel, 20, of Raleigh County, West Virginia
Colten Garcia, 20, of Raleigh County, West Virginia
Kaden Ashby, 21, of Raleigh County, West Virginia
Kaiden Radford, 21, of Raleigh County, West Virginia
According to the police, the accident happened around 10:25 p.m. when a vehicle, traveling south on I-77, struck a concrete barrier before leaving the elevated roadway. The vehicle then ended up in a lot below, near the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Emergency responders from the Charleston Police and Fire Departments arrived at the scene to find the vehicle heavily damaged. Tragically, all four individuals inside the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
This heartbreaking incident has devastated the families and loved ones of those involved.
